We brought this one indoors but it will work and be just as fun as an outdoor activity! 🧊💕

All we used was:
🧊 Ice
🌈 food coloring in dollar store ketchup bottles
.
.
Super easy peasy and loads of fun. Add a fun early learning twist by talking about colors, the differences between hot and cold by talking about cold, and so much sensory fun! 🧊🌈 supervision always advised.

This was all in all another great and easy activity! All I used was:
🍦 foam sheets
🍦 dot stickers
🍦 craft sticks
🍦 improvised a light blue with a post it note
🍦 and a marker or pen for a fun name activity!

.
This kids learning game can go so many ways! We used it for learning colors and for a fun ice cream name activity! My LO is learning her name and so we practiced on the first letter sounds (S-A-M) so it was a neat fun activity that incorporated a bit of fine motor play (inserting the craft stick into the it’s correct match. Easy peasy, right?!

She enjoyed it very much and this can go so many ways for a differentiated set of ages. You can practice addition/subtraction, counting, numbers, shapes, colors... the list goes on and on! 😍

.. for those hot summer days ☀️💫 the other day someone asked in a group, “Are there any simple ice activities we can try this summer?” .. yes! 🙋🏻‍♀️ here’s one!

This simple diy kids activity is so easy peasy, it can literally work with most of your LO’s toys! Story time: when my oldest was smaller, she was the tinker bell 🔔 of creating things. There were a couple of times she’d freeze her toys and I couldn’t understand this. But, it was a genius idea and to this day we bring forth this simple activity of freezing toys - especially on those 🥵 hot summer days!

This was easy as apple pie 🥧 freeze the Dino toys in a few storage containers and voila! You’ve an epic ice activity 🧊 for a fun indoor or outdoor activity for kids! (Supervision advised w all activities on @activelittles ) 💫🌈💗💕
